elegant font management
Fontcase is a professional font manager in an elegant package with beautiful font previews and robust (auto-activation) support. It effortlessly handles libraries with thousands of fonts and organising your fonts is dead-simple thanks to our Typedia integration.
Fontcase has various ways of previewing the fonts in your library. Test your font for use in a header or body or visit any website and test the font right there from within Fontcase.
Fontcase makes activating fonts easy and fast and we're doing it in a way the system likes, without resorting to plug-ins. Auto-activation is supported for most third-party apps, including the Adobe Creative Suite and all standard Mac apps.
You can preview your fonts any way you want; test it as a header or body font or flick through the glyph tables to examine the subtle details of individual glyphs and copy their HTML entities. The previews are beautifully and accurately rendered and directly editable.
Fontcase effortlessly renders beautiful header or body previews for all your fonts, even if your library contains thousands of fonts, it's all fast and reliable. Or examine glyph tables, copy HTML codes or create PDFs from glyphs.
The amazing thing about Fontcase's previews is that they are directly editable. Type whatever you want to preview and the entire list will quickly follow your edits. It works like a charm.
After managing and previewing fonts, you'll want to activate them for use in other apps. Fontcase makes this easy and reliable and even comes with reliable auto-activation which just works. Fonts are low-level to the system but because Fontcase was built for the Mac exclusively we can abide by all the rules without resorting to hacks and weird plugins.
Auto-activation in Fontcase supports all standard Mac apps - iWork included but also all recent version of Adobe's Creative Suite apps, including Photoshop and InDesign.
Fontcase plays nicely with the system's font management so fonts get automatically picked up by other apps and Fontcase gets notified if another app (such as Adobe Photoshop) is missing a font. All without installing any plug-ins.
Introduced in Fontcase 2.0, the typesetter is an easy way to test fonts on any page in Fontcase's built-in web browser. Just drag a font onto a text box and the font gets applied to it. Test fonts out in the wild or test combinations any way you want and type your own copy.
You can load up any page in the Typesetter. Have you always wanted to know how Apple.com would look in Futura, or do you just want to test fonts on your own web design? Either case, you'll love the Typesetter feature in Fontcase.
The Typesetter makes it easy to test combinations of fonts in whatever way you want. You can even go in and change the text anywhere on any web site to test that exact combination you want.
“Fontcase 2.0 succeeds its previous design with grace and elegance, wowing us like any great font would with a tailored design built for the 22nd century”
“Are these things that you could do in other apps? Certainly, but not with the ease and beauty that Fontcase gives you.”
